Vivid memories of the murder house at my NZ primary school ... I recall biting the dental nurse the first time they tried a filling 😅 not a popular move. My experience in OZ as dentists look at my extensive array of amalgam fillings is "Oh a NZer mouth ... " 😉

I hear you, Luigi. Your story reminded me of my orthodontist when I was a kid. Looking back, I don’t think they understood, or perhaps even cared, about the psychological side of treating children. They were cold, dismissive and seemed to believe that fear and compliance were the same thing. They definitely left lasting emotional damage. Horrible. I’m glad you found Dr. Loong!
